Our expertise – Jewellery sector

We specialize in bookkeeping of entities into jewellery distribution and jewellery retail chains across US. We understand the industry in depth. We understand the complex process of memo sales, sales crystallization, returns, inventory recording and reconciliations, stuck up reconciliations with vendors, customers, etc. We can audit existing outstanding payables, receivables. We can completely take over your accounts section or can work as an extended accounts team.

We represented a jewellery retail chain. We have been doing their end to end bookkeeping and inventory reconciliations. One of the vendors of the client (retail chain) disputed the memo inventory, sales and also the pricing of the sale. There was difference of couple of million dollars in the amount payable as per our client and amount claimed to be receivable by vendor.

The supplier invoked the audit clause by an independent accounting firm and appointed third party auditor to verify the records and reconciliation of the client. Before the audit commenced, we had already reviewed the entire records, prepared a detailed reconciliation and documentation and had determined the exact amount of outstanding inventory, memo goods and amount payable. We actively supported the client throughout the external audit. Finally, the forensic audit validated our entire working and concurred with the outstanding inventory and amount payable as worked out by us.
